You all do such a nice job with the building. It gets better looking every time I drive by.

WOW ! The magic of Village Productions has wowed me once again! Just this past week I peeked at the newly installed cabinetry on the first floor gathering space and was awestruck. Village Productions has made improvements nonstop since I became a member in 2018. Since then, new staircases inside and out, bathroom additions and renovations, an upgrade of the former kitchen to commercial, new windows and even installation of upcycled theater curtains.
While the community space is a jewel for me additional sparkle comes from the programs offered. There are more classes and activities than I can participate in. In any given week I can choose from pilates, meditation circle, Zumba and yoga. Bi-monthly there is a senior group (breakfast included) and cookbook club. Special events throughout the year-- talent show, live music and special dinners are crazy good.
Who knew when I moved from the city to Amesville I would find culture, creativity and community closer than ever!

Village Productions is a real feather in Amesville’s cap. Every time I’ve been to the Tuesday senior club, I’ve felt welcome. It’s a good space, comfortable, steady, and used well. The folks running things put real thought into the programs they offer, and it shows.
When a group of visitors from Age-Friendly Slovenia came to see what we’re doing in our corner of Ohio, Village Productions helped give them a strong impression of what small towns can do right. One of them said they saw how people here “connect and activate older people into a support network.” That’s exactly what Village Productions is doing. It’s a place that brings people together and keeps things moving.

The Board of Directors of Village Productions is extremely dedicated to its building and to its programming, managing a wonderful multi-faceted community center. What genius of function and aesthetics they recently conceived in the form of newly installed cabinetry in the meeting room! Another indicator of their dedication.

In February of 2005, Gary and I purchased property so we could build our dream home in the woods. We bought a house in Amesville in 2007 to live in while we built our home. We then got involved with Village Productions. That organization is responsible for us scrapping our idea of building and settling here permanently. I had never taken a yoga class and I was pushing 60. The benefits of the classes I take at VP keeps me moving. I’m going into old age with a keener sense of balance that is so important for protecting old, brittle bones. The Tuesday morning senior center and the Amesville Cookbook Club are a big part of my social life. I’m so grateful this place is here!
