Federal Hocking Middle School Community Service Day - Construction of pollinator garden adjacent to the community garden. Volunteers removed sod and prepared the beds for planting. Thanks for the hard work!

EARTH DAY, 2018: Evelyn Ripple decided to have her birthday celebration planting a pollinator garden that Federal Hocking Middle school students helped construct adjacent to the Amesville Community Garden. Plants were donated by Marcia Burchby, Jim Wilson, Jeroch Carlson, Federal Hocking Middle School and others. This garden will attract butterflies and beneficial insects to the community garden. Thank you, Evelyn!

Thanks to the Athens Foundation, the Village of Amesville and Village Productions, Amesville now has a community garden. The garden is located at the intersection of S. Liberty and Clark Streets, across the street from the playground equipment. If you are interested in gardening with us, please call our garden coordinator, Natalie Horvath, 937-677-2226.
